In Memory: Mary Shrader

Mary Ellen Shrader, 67, of Neola died July 16 at home.

She was born in Omaha. She moved to Neola 20 years ago. She was a graduate of St. John's High School in Omaha. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Neola and Council Bluffs DOES of the Elks Lodge.

Mrs. Shrader and her husband, John W., were married 35 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include three daughters, Ann James and husband, Phillip, of Clinton MO., Margaret Maruska and Terri Wilbanks both of Omaha; two sisters, Kathleen Sergini-Shoultz and Patricia Zitnik both of Omaha; one brother, James Payne, of Omaha; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Wake service was held Tuesday at 7 p.m., followed by family visitation until 8 p.m. at Hillside Mortuary in Neola. Funeral was held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Neola with the Rev. Dan Kirby officiating. Private burial of ashes was at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha.

Memorials may be offered to St. Patrick's Church.
