In Memory: Mischelle Ruby

Mischelle I. Ruby, 32, of Council Bluffs, died April 21 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

She was born and lived in Council Bluffs all her life. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1988, did volunteer work for Roosevelt Elementary School and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Gray, of Council Bluffs; her parents, Richard and Marilyn Ruby, of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Steven, Kendall and Jimmy Ruby, all of Council Bluffs; and a sister, Heather Ruby, of Council Bluffs.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral was held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Collins officiating. Burial was in the Neola Township Cemetery.
