In Memory: Beverly J. Knott

Beverly Jean Knott, 66, of Council Bluffs died November 1 at Bethany Lutheran Home.

She was born September 3, 1934, in Cherry County, Nebraska, to Roy Matson and Lois Crossfield and graduated from Omaha North High School in 1952. She was owner-operator of Bev's Beauty Salon in Neola. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Knott and her husband, Norman, were married 43 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Jeanette Mayes, and husband, Lee, of Aberdeen, Mississippi; a son, Brad, and wife, Janice, of Council Bluffs; a sister, Joanne Carlson, of Huntsville, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at Belford-O'Neill Funeral Home. Funeral was held Friday at Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Heath officiating. Burial was in the Silver Creek Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Epworth Church.

Memorials may be offered to the church elevator fund.
