In Memory: Loretta N. Andersen

Funeral for Loretta Nellie Andersen, 87, of Council Bluffs was held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rick Cook officiating.

Mrs. Andersen died September 11 at her home.

She was born in Persia and had lived in Council Bluffs for 47 years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Andersen and her husband, Andy, were married 28 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a stepdaughter, Denise Bicket, and husband, J.P., of Council Bluffs; two stepsons, Leon Andersen and wife, Barb, of Papillion, Nebraska, and Gary Andersen of Coffeyville, Kansas; a sister, Ruby Chapman, and husband, Lowell, of Persia; a brother, Donald Jarvis, and wife, Zelma, of Persia; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson, nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was pastor David Borden held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
