In Memory: Mary Loeffelholz

Mary Lou Loeffelholz, 67, of Minden died September 11, 2000 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital Southwest Iowa Medical Center.

Mrs. Loeffelholz, a homemaker, had lived in Minden for the past twenty years. Born in Kingsley, Iowa, she lived in Council Bluffs before moving to Minden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Loeffelholz, in 1994 and by her daughter Victoria Huffman and two grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Huffman, in 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia and husband Curt Wagner of Minden and Sharon and husband David Wicker of Hancock; son, Daniel Loeffelholz Sr. of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister Carolyn and husband Gary Crippen of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs.

Funeral service will be Saturday, September 16 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Judy Flanegin, pastor of the Hancock and Silver Creek United Methodist Churches, officiating.

Memorials may be offered to the Nebraska Crime Victim's Assistance Fund.
