In Memory: Margaret C. Cook

Margaret C. Cook, 87, of Council Bluffs, died Sept. 5 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley.

She was born June 30, 1913, in Soldier to Ole and Margith (Ovataas) Engebretson. She worked in the circulation department at the Omaha World-Herald for 25 years, retiring in 1975.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, on June 9, 1995.

Survivors include a son, Ronald M. and his wife JoEllen of Council Bluffs; a sister, Ruth Major of Underwood; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held Friday at 2 P.M. at Cutler Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Erickson of First Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the First Christian Church.
