Bessie I. Shadden Carson

OMAHA - Bessie Irene Shadden Carson, 97, died Feb. 16 at her home in Papillion Manor.

She was born June 15, 1905, in Crescent.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harvey Carson; sons, Roland and Robert Carson; and daughter, Darlene Greenwood.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Carson and wife, Marjorie, of Council Bluffs, Ernest Carson and wife, Darlene, of Pennsylvania; daughters, LeMae Dupuis and husband, George Dupuis, of Minnesota, Barbara Koory of Council Bluffs, Joyce Pittman of Papillion, Neb., and Donna Prince of York, Neb.; 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Crosby Burket Swanson Golden Colonial Chapel, 119th and W. Center Road, Omaha. Service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
