In Memory: Karen Diamond

Karen L. Diamond, 50, of Council Bluffs died August 12 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

She was born in Council Bluffs and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1969. She was a customer service manager at No Frills Supermarket.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; two sons, Jamie W. and Jeffrey E., both of Council Bluffs; her mother, Arlene Slack, of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Joe Slack Jr. of Firth, Nebraska and Randy Slack of Underwood; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held at Meyer Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral was held Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Delbert Story officiating. Burial was in Hazel Dell Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the American Cancer Society.
