In Memory: Edgar I. Fowler
(March 13, 1917 - April 22, 2001)

Funeral for Edgar I. Fowler, 84, a former Council Bluffs resident, was held Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Oswald of Southview Bible Church officiating.

Mr. Fowler died April 22 at Thomas Fitzgerald Veterans Home in Omaha.

He was born in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He farmed until his retirement in 1975.

Survivors include six daughters, Joyce Kellar and husband, Albert, and Cathy Fowler, all of Council Bluffs, Linda Collins of Somonauk, Illinois, Shirley Lamb and husband, Larry, of Castana, Lynn Logan and husband, David, of McClelland and Beverly Zayariboun and husband, Billy, of Aurora, Illinois; two sons, Randy of Iva, South Caroline, and Thomas of Ripley, California; 24 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at the funeral home. Burial was in the Garner Township Cemetery.
