In Memory: Oleda J. Severson

Mrs. Oleda J. Severson died Saturday, January 18, 2003 at Colonial Manor in Zearing, Iowa.

She was born September 3, 1907 in McCallsburg, the daughter of Charlie E. and Leva (Thompson) Christian.

Oleda married Martin Levi Severson January 1, 1929 in McCallsburg. A homemaker and housewife, she was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg.

Survivors include two sons, Londell Severson and his wife Vicki of Custer, South Dakota and Lance and his wife Beverly of Underwood; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Morris of Zearing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Martin Levi Severson on July 31, 1990; three sisters and three brothers.

Visitation with the family was held Monday evening at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. Funeral services were Tuesday, January21 at 10:30 A.M. at the church, with burial following at Warren Township Cemetery, McCallsburg.

Fredregill Funeral home of Zearing was in charge of arrangements.
