Patricia C. Vernon

Funeral Mass for Patricia C. Vernon, 74, of Council Bluffs will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Worship Center, 238 S. 6th St., with the Rev. Ken Gross officiating.

She died Feb. 5 at Northcrest Care Center.

She was born Feb. 20, 1928, in Denison to Edward F. and Marie H. (Connor) Vernon. She moved to Council Bluffs in 1969. She graduated from Denison High School. She volunteered in the kitchen at Mercy Hospital. She was a member of St. Francis Worship Center and St. Ann's Altar & Rosary Society.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Meidlinger of Council Bluffs and Mary I. Jacobsen and husband, Doug, of Lake View; two brothers, Edward F. Vernon and wife, Yoshi, of Santee, Calif., and James A. Vernon and wife, Mary Therese, of Sun Valley, Ariz.; nieces and nephews.

Rosary recitation Sunday at 4 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery in Vail.

Memorials may be offered to Holy Family Catholic Church.
