Leslie Donahue 1873-1945

Funeral services for Leslie C. Donahue were held from his home here Monday morning at 10 o’clock with Rev. Father V.D. Cashman officiating and reading the burial prayers at the graveside in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Donahue died at the Jennie Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs on Saturday, July 28, where he had been a patient for eight weeks. He suffered a stroke on April 26, 1945.

He was born in Benton county, Iowa on June 11, 1873, the son of Patrick Donahue and Sarah Campbell. He was reared as a boy near Corley.

He was married to Minnie Alice McKinney on August 27, 1930 who survives him.
