In Memory: Gerald Eilenstine

Gerald W. Eilenstine, 63, of Council Bluffs died February 2 in Council Bluffs.

He was born in Minden and moved to Council Bluffs 32 years ago. He worked for Chicago Northwest Railroad for 25 years.

He was a member of the Gospel Satellite Church.

Mr. Eilenstine and his wife, Lizzabeth, had been married for 43 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Gloria Hammond of Council Bluffs and Linda Lippert of Council Bluffs; three sons, Dale of Council Bluffs, Mark and wife Lisa of Council Bluffs and Jerry of Bellevue, Nebraska; four sisters, Karolee Dorsey of Ft Dodge, Eva Mae Hansen of Harlan, Darlene Deveraux of Macedonia and Nancy Larsen of Omaha; a brother, Dennis of Missouri; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening at Gospel Satellite Church at 13th and Hickory in Omaha.

Funeral was held Wednesday at Gospel Satellite church with the Rev. Ralph barker officiating.

Burial was at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs.

The Chapel of Memories is in charge of arrangements.
