Mrs. Carrie M. Ring

Mrs. Carrie Mae Ring, 65, of Neola, died Monday at a local hospital following a lingering illness. Born in Carson, she had spent all her life in the vicinity, she was a member of St. Patrick’s Church.

Surviving are her husband, John, five sons, Frank, Louis, Donald and John Jr., all of Neola; and James of Atlantic; three daughters: Mrs. Leta Burke and Mrs. Delores Hough, both of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Ann Holzfaster of Neola; four sisters: Mrs. Lizzie Lyman of Neola, Mrs. Grace Gross of Avoca, Mrs. Beanie Lyman and Mrs. Emmie Taylor, both of Carson: six brothers, Andrew Ring of Underwood, George Ring, Jake Ring, all of Neola; and Joe and John Ring both of Carson; 27 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ann Holzfaster in Neola from Tuesday at 4 pm until the hour of services. Requiem mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:45 am in St. Patrick’s church, Neola. Burial will be in the Neola cemetery.
