William Niemann, Jr.
[1888 - 1918]

William Niemann, Jr., died at his home northwest of Avoca, Tuesday evening, December 10, aged 30 years, after an illness of ten days with Flu. The funeral services were held today, Thursday, at his late home and the remains laid to rest in the Avoca cemetery.

William Niemann was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Niemann of Avoca. He was born on the farm where he now lived. Four years ago he was married to Miss Emma Wisch of Avoca, to this union one child was born. Since his marriage he had been farming the home place and was very successful. Mr. Niemann was a young man of excellent habits and had a large circle of friends, all of whom will greatly regret his untimely death. The good wife has lost a good husband and their four year old baby, a kind father; to both the community extends their sympathy.
