Services Wednesday for Dan Gustafsen
Last rites for Daniel C. Gustafsen, 51, were held from the Blust-Berthusen funeral home Wednesday afternoon with interment in Graceland cemetery. Rev John M. DeBerg had charge of the services.
Mr. Gustafsen died at his home in Avoca early Monday morning following a heart attack. For the past seven years he has been employed by the Fullerton Lumber Co. here.
Daniel Chris Gustafsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Maren Andersen) Gustafsen, was born on March 1, 1899, at Marne. On February 16, 1927 he was married to Bessie A. Gross. They have one daughter, Lois.

Mr. Gustafsen farmed around Avoca for a time after his marriage and later moved to Avoca where he was employed by the Iowa-Nebraska Transportation Co.

He is survived by his widow and daughter; seven sisters, Mrs. Anna Sarvis, Mrs. Harry Weise, Mrs. Detlef Sorensen, Mrs. Leonard Peters, all of Avoca. Mrs. Chris Christensen, Atlantic Mrs. Ernest Jacobsen, Nebraska City, Nebraska, Mrs. Harry Burgin, Council Bluffs; three brothers Chris of Avoca, Fred of Santa Monica, California, Carl of council Bluffs.
His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
