The funeral for Doris Jean Pople, 75, of Council Bluffs will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Kim Crummer of Epworth United Methodist Church officiating.

Mrs. Pople died Jan. 26 at home.

She was born March 8, 1928, in Chickashaw, Okla., to Lloyd and Millie (Banoska) Arthur. She previously lived in Chickashaw and North Bend, Neb., before living in Council Bluffs for 54 years. She was a 1947 graduate of North Bend High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8223 of North Bend.

Mrs. Pople and her husband, Harold, were married Jan. 18, 1947.

Survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Dara Young, of Lake Park, N.C.; three grandsons, Hunter, Tanner and Connor Young.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in North Bend.
