Fran J. Madsen

KIMBALLTON - Fran J. Madsen, 69, of Mesa, Ariz., died Jan. 21 in Mesa.

She was born in Kimballton July 21, 1933. She was a resident of Council Bluffs for 40 years, moving to Mesa in 1993.

Mrs. Madsen and her husband, Fred, were married 52 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include daughters, Susan Ackerman and husband, Carl of Council Bluffs, Penny Ferger and husband, Lyle, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Julie Logue and husband, Don, of Scottsdale; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kimballton. Memorials may be offered to the Cancer Society and Hospice.
