Johanna Fredricka (Schickoufsky) Turner

Mrs. Johanna Fredricka Turner, 76, Neola, Iowa died Tuesday at a Council Bluffs, Iowa hospital after a 10 day illness.

A lifelong resident of Pottawattamie County, Mrs. Turner had lived 51 years in Neola ,Iowa. She was the widow of Patrick Turner and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, The Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors include: Two daughters: Mrs. Margaret Miens of Huntington Park, California, and Sister Mary Patricius of Denver, Colorado; four sons, Edward Turner, John Turner, and Joseph Turner of Neola, Iowa, and Leo Turner of Bell California; Two sisters: Mrs Mary Peterson Council Bluffs, Iowa and Mrs Katherine Floerchinger of Neola; three brothers, Godfrey Schickoufsky and William Schickoufsky, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Gus Schickoufsky of Minden, Iowa and 11 grandchildren.

A Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Friday at St Patrick Catholic Church in Neola, Iowa by the Rev. Joseph P. Shaw. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Neola, Iowa. Rosary recitation will be held at 8 P.M., Thursday at her home in Neola. The body will be at the Beem-Belford Funeral Home until Thursday noon when it will be taken to the Neola residence.
