Graveside services for Lona Josephine Prunty, 79, of Council Bluffs will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Linwood Cemetery near Beebeetown with the Rev. Sharon Hannah officiating.

She died Jan. 25 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

She was born July 19, 1923, in Beebeetown to Leslie J. Beebee and Ethel J. Jones. She moved to Council Bluffs in 1942. She was a retired custodian for various businesses. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth Mullins, of Adel and brothers Bennett and Ellis Beebee.

Survivors include one sister, J. Wanda Carson, and husband, Rex, of Logan; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.
