In Memory: Robert L. Arnold

The funeral for Robert Leroy Arnold, 61, of Harlan was held Saturday at 2 P.M. at Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan with the Rev. Ed Frank officiating.

Mr. Arnold died November 26 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan.

He was born in Chandler, Oklahoma. He was a Harlan resident since his family moved here from Oklahoma in 1946. He graduated in 1960 from Harlan High School. He worked road maintenance with Iowa Department of Transportation.

Mr. Arnold and his wife, Vivian, were married 39 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include four sons, Lynn of Harlan, Paul and wife, Kim of San Antonio, Vance and wife, Nichole, of Harlan and Michael and wife, Jennifer, of Harlan; one sister, Martha Lynn Petersen, and husband, Ronald, of Avoca; four brothers, Glen, and wife, Darlene, of Harlan, Kenneth and wife, Audrey, of Scottsbluffs, Nebraska, Raymond and wife, Susan, of Minden and Donald of Eugene, Oregon; nine grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date at Rose hill Cemetery in Kirkman.
