Richard C. Skow, age 75, a resident of Council Bluffs since 1933 died on July 6, 2005 at Mercy Hospital.

He was born on October 8, 1929 in Persia, Iowa. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and was in the US. Navy serving in the Korean Conflict. Richard worked for Union Pacific Railroad, Herb's TV, Safeway, and was a supervisor in housekeeping at Bluffs Run Casino.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie (Duval) Skow; and sons, John and Rick.

Survivors include his son, James Skow; daughters, Luann Brown and Lisa Martin; daughter-in-law, Karen Skow; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Leonard and Don Skow; sisters, Marie Helm, Kate Shannon, June Hughes and Connie Riddle.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3pm -5pm at Cutler-O-Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10am at Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends to meet at the cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the Eagles Club.
