Carmelita Falkenhainer

Carmelita Falkenhainer, 75, of Council Bluffs died Jan. 11 at the Longview Home in Missouri Valley.

She was born in Lawton, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cammanche Tribe of Oklahoma.

Mrs. Falkenhainer and her husband, Tasker "Tack", were married 50 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Lynn Madsen, and husband, Kerry, of Council Bluffs; one son, Kurt, and wife, Cindy, of Council Bluffs; one sister, Shirley Mattoon, of Lawton; four grandchildren, Kris Falkenhainer, Sara Falkenhainer, Cheryl Hawkins, Tricia Madsen; two great-grandchildren.

There will be no viewing or services. The body was cremated. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association and Alegent Hospice.
