Raymond Neve Thomsen, age 90, of Avoca, Iowa, passed away April 21, 2008, at the Myrtue Medical Center.

He was born March 25, 1918, in Avoca, Iowa.

He is survived by wife, Jeanette (Ives) Thomsen; daughter, Rae Jeanne (Jerry) Christensen of Avoca; son, Terry (Peggy) Thomsen of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 25, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Avoca, Pastor Dennis Reich officiant. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Avoca.
