Clarence E. Allen

Clarence Edgar Allen, 71, of Council Bluffs died Jan. 8 at Risen Son Christian Village.

He was born in Council Bluffs. He worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Excelsior Masonic Lodge No. 259 AF & AM. He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting and fishing, and a bowler. He served with the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Doris Allen.

Survivors include one sister, Virginia Michaelson, of Council Bluffs; special friend, Ann Wallace, of Omaha; two nephews; aunts; cousins.

Masonic service by Excelsior Masonic Lodge No. 259 AF & AM will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. followed by family visitation at McCurdy Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Paul Crane officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter.
