Ronnie Allen Redeker, age 68, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 26, 2008, at Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home in Bellevue, Neb.

Ronnie was born August 26, 1939, in Red Cloud, Neb., to the late Arnif and Mabel (Rickard) Redeker. He graduated from Red Cloud High School in 1957 and received his associate's degree in electronics from IWCC. Ronnie served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1980. He was a desk clerk at the Super 8 Motel from 1981-1995.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce D. (Wells) Redeker of Council Bluffs; sons, Ricky Redeker and fiance', Terrie Mielke of Council Bluffs, Mark Redeker and wife Jacqueline of Derby, Kan.; grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla and Logan Redeker; sisters, Trudy Teungel and husband Fred in Ariz., Zona Heinz and husband Ray in Kan., Shelly Cornwall and Diane Redeker both of Lincon, Neb.; brothers, Rollie and Ricky Redeker both of Red Cloud, Neb., Richie Redeker and wife Donna in Texas, Gregory Redeker and wife Char in W.Va., Rod Redeker and wife Donna Jean in Mich., Craig Redeker of Red Cloud, Neb.; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family, Sunday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Monday, 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary with Rev. Dr. Eberhard A. Hering officiating. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors tendered by the Offutt AFB Honor Guard. A lunch will follow at the American Legion Club.

Memorials to the Alzheimers Association preferred.
