Guadalupe D. Vazquez, age 88, of Omaha, Neb., passed away March 14, 2008.

Guadalupe was born December 16, 1919, in Mexico. He was a laborer and worked at a packing house.

He is preceded in death by wife, Adela. Guadalupe joined his wife to celebrate what would have been their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Unidos Para Siempre.

Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Guillermo and Rita, Guadalupe Jr. and Joan, Pedro and Elizabeth, Mario and Kelly, all of Omaha; Arturo and Rita of Council Bluffs, Jesus and Shari of Coralville, Iowa; daughters and sons-in-law, Maria Elena and Arturo Aguilera Jr., Sagrario and Edilberto Rangel, Cristina and Paul Shiroyama, all of Omaha; 24 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 sisters in Mexico; many nieces, nephews, compadres and comadres.

Visitation Monday, 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home, 5108 F Street, Omaha, Neb., and after 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Wake Service, Monday, 7:30 p.m. at the Church. Funeral Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at the Church.

Interment in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery.
