OAKLAND - The funeral for Dean William Hildebrand, 44, of Oakland will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Oakland United Methodist Church in Oakland.

Mr. Hildebrand died suddenly Jan. 3 at home.

He was born May 18, 1958, in Council Bluffs to Donald Doyce and Lois Nadine (Jacobsen) Hildebrand. He graduated in 1976 from Oakland Community School. After graduation he worked for Oakland Feeding Corporation until January 1983, when he built Hildebrand Feed and Supply on the south side of Oakland. He and his wife owned and operated the feed seed and farm supply business.

Mr. Hildebrand and his wife, ReAnn (Palmer), were married Aug. 12, 1978.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter, Anna; one son, Ryan; mother, Lois Hildebrand, of Oakland; one brother, Don, and wife, Jackie, of Oakland; nephew, Chris Hildebrand and wife, Chris, of Des Moines; niece, Danene Hildebrand of Oakland; two sisters, Karen of Denver, Colo., and Mary Hildebrand of Oakland; grandmother, Viola Jacobsen, of Oakland; mother-in-law, Claire Palmer; brother-in-law, Dana Palmer and wife, Tami, and their children, Alyssa and Katelyn, all of Oakland and brother-in-law Gayle Palmer, wife Karyl and son Jared of Dallas Center.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Oakland.
