John Dale Troff, Jr., age 65, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 10, 2008, at Woodlands Rehabilitation Center.

John was born August 31, 1942, in Blue Earth, Minn., to John H. and Arlene (Busch) Troff. He graduated from Boyden-Hull Community High School. John moved to Council Bluffs in 1963 and worked with his father in construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, John H. Troff in 1977; sister, Sharon Perkins; brother, Ron Troff.

John is survived by his mother, Arlene J. Troff of Council Bluffs; brother, Gary Troff and wife, Debbie, of Lincoln, Neb; nieces and nephews.

No viewing, visitation or funeral. The body has been cremated and John's ashes will be buried in Highland Home Cemetery, Ledyard, Iowa at a later date.
