Jessie LeRoy Fett, age 27, of Carter Lake, Iowa, passed away March 9, 2007, in Council Bluffs from injuries suffered as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident.

His life started as a struggle. Jessie was born August 4, 1980, in Iowa City, Iowa, weighing 2 lbs, 13 oz. to Gary LeRoy and Pamela Rachee Fett. He was flown home in a wheel chair and was told he would never wrestle again. Jessie was a great achiever, not letting his injury keep him from earning letters in both wrestling and cross country from Thomas Jefferson High School where he graduated in 1999. As a senior in high school he co-founded City Motor Center along with his brother, Jason Fett.

In May 2001, Jessie met the light of his life, Stephanie Anderson. They became the parents of Alexis in 2002, Jessie, Jr., in 2004, and a 3rd child to be born in October of 2008. In 2002, Jessie co-founded City Super Shop and Eppley U Wreck It which led to opening Fett's City Motor Center in Omaha. In 2006, he opened a second location of Fett's City Motor Center also in Omaha.

Jessie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Bonnie Cory of Kensett, Iowa; paternal grandfather, William Fett of Nora Springs, Iowa.

He is survived by his children, Alexis Vanessa Fett and Jessie LeRoy Fett, Jr.; parents, Gary and Pam Fett, all of Carter Lake; brothers, Jason Fett and wife, Jennifer, of Omaha, Joseph Chad Fett and wife, Leslie, of Farmington, Ark; grandmother, Goldia Fett of Nora Springs; fiancee', Stephanie Anderson, of Carter Lake; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
