In Memory: Wilhelm "Bill" Stamp

Wilhelm "Bill" Martens Stamp, 87, of Persia died Tuesday, April 8 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan.

He was born June 19, 1915 at Persia, the son of Emma and Peter Stamp. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife Coralys; two daughters, Mona and her husband Kevin Jensen of Council Bluffs and Mary and her husband Earl Bennett of Underwood; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The family will greet friends Friday, April 11 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Persia, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Kuhnle officiating.

Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery at Persia.
