In Memory: Albert L. Leonard

Albert Lee Leonard, 76, of Persia, died March 13 at the Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley.

Albert was married to Donna Pitts on March 2, 1952. He was a long distance truck driver to California for several years and a farmer until he retired and moved to Persia in 1988.

Survivors include his wife, Donna, of Persia; son, David and his wife, Laura, of Persia; grandsons, Mike of Loveland, Colorado, Steven of Persia; granddaughter, Julie of Persia; twin brother, Alfred, and wife, Bernice, of Harlan; sister, Adelaide of Omaha.

Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan. Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Persia.
