In Memory: Mark A. Hines
(September 22, 1947 - May 4, 2000)

Memorial service for Mark A. Hines, 52, of rural Minden was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Knutson Funeral Chapel in Avoca with Father Dan Kirby, of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola, officiating.

Burial of the cremains was held in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Mr. Hines died May 4 at his residence.

He was born in California and attended Tri-Center High School. He had served in the U.S. Army and worked as a farm laborer.

Survivors include two sons, Matthew and Josh, both of Shenandoah; one sister, Pauline Rieber and husband, Art, of Neola and three brothers, Paul R. of Shenandoah, Mike of Atlanta, Georgia and Dan of Persia.

There was no viewing or visitation.
