In Memory: Gladys Ford Bates

Funeral service for Gladys Ford Bates, 76, of Omaha was held August 30 in Kentucky. Mrs. Bates died August 27. She lived previously in Council Bluffs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bates Sr. in 1990 and a son, Paul, in 1968.

Survivors include Ernest Jr. and Nancy Bates of Island, Kentucky, Dan and Jan Bates of Council Bluffs and Tom Grosse of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Judy and Steve Wood of Omaha, Ed and Darlene Bates of Neola; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be offered to Gladys Ford Bates Memorial Fund, Muster Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 160, Calhoun, KY 42327.
