In Memory: Alvin N. Ohlinger
(July 16, 1941 - April 29, 2003)

Memorial Mass for Alvin N. Ohlinger, 61, of Council Bluffs will be May 10 at 11 a.m., at St. Michael's Church in Harlan.

Mr. Ohlinger died April 29. He was born in Panama. He worked for Snoco for many years. He also did lawn service and was an auctioneer.

Mr. Ohlinger was preceded in death by his father, Jake Ohlinger, brother, Clete Ohlinger; and niece, Jennifer Buckley.

Survivors include his daughters, Diane Ohlinger and husband, Dennis, Suzi Ohlinger-Reichart and husband, Todd, all of Council Bluffs; four grandchildren, Laura, Jeffery, Erika and Cory; mother, Florence Ohlinger of Harlan; four brothers, Father Vice Ohlinger of East Troy, Wisconsin, Ray and Betty Ohlinger of Pocahontas, Jake and Kathy Ohlinger of Greenville, South Carolina, and Bob and Luann Ohlinger of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; sisters, Theresa and Jerry Sonntag of Atlantic, Angie Wingert of Omaha, Jane and Richard Buckley of Glenwood, Leola and Bill Royal of Harlan, Rose and Dave Sternberg of Shelby and Margie and Terry Ostgaard of Lincoln, Nebraska; 37 nieces and nephews.
