In Memory: Shirley Brown

Shirley L. Brown, 90, of Council Bluffs, died February 4 at her residence.

She was born in Sterling, Colorado, and worked as a homemaker. She was also an Elder at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Leon C. Brown, on December 12, 1994.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Geise and her husband, Richard, of Underwood; son, Mick Brown and his wife, Elaine, of Council Bluffs; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel with John Farrell, Chaplain officiating. Inurnment in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed the service. There was no visitation.

Memorials may be offered to Bethany Lutheran Home.
