Wilma A. Lauver

Wilma A. Lauver, 95, of Council Bluffs died Jan. 1 at Risen Son Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1907, in Randolph to William H. and Etta S. (Negley) Campbell. She previously lived in Randolph and Decatur, moving to Council Bluffs in 1920. She was a seamstress for Canar Manufacturing in Omaha for 20 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness.

Mrs. Lauver was preceded in death by her husband, Pearlie E., on Jan. 16, 1996.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Hiatt of Creston and Patricia Pedersen and husband, Leslie, of Council Bluffs; three sons, Leslie E. and wife, Bernice, Frank C. and wife, Bernice, Dwayne E. and wife, Vicky, all of Council Bluffs; one sister, Mary Bloom, of Broomfield, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Wood-ring Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Ron Shaw of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness or Hospice Preferred Choice.
