Mildred K. Kimball

Mildred K. Kimball, 91, of Council Bluffs died Dec. 31 at Indian Hills Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 2, 1911, in Underwood to James E. and Margaret (Ratigan) Reed. She and her husband lived in Council Bluffs for most of their lives. They moved to Missouri Valley in 1984 and back to Council Bluffs in 1999. She was a sales clerk for Woolworth's, retiring in 1964. She was a member of Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, its Altar & Rosary Society.

Mrs. Kimball was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R., in 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Wolff and husband, Byron, and Karen Arbaugh, all of Council Bluffs; one son, Kenneth J., and wife, Joanne, of Council Bluffs; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church with the Rev. Dan Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park with a lunch following at the church.

Memorials may be offered to Queen of the Apostles Church.
