Walter Rollins

Walter Rollins, 53, of Council Bluffs died Dec. 30 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

He was born July 23, 1949, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He was a laborer at Blue Star Foods followed by nine years of service with MFT Construction Co. He retired in 1999. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Mr. Rollins was preceded in death by his wife, Rena, on Feb. 14, 2002.

Survivors include four daughters, Tara Harlan of Stockton, Calif., Brandi Rollins, Robin Pogge and Teri Weaver and husband, Lonnie, all of Council Bluffs; six grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the family.
