RAYMORE, Mo. - Ethel Louise Gregory, 84, of Raymore, Mo., died Dec. 23 at the Raymore Health Care Center from cancer.

She was born Jan. 4, 1918, in Laredo, Mo. She graduated from Central Missouri State Teaching College in 1940 with a bachelor of science degree in education, majoring in mathematics. She taught for 45 years, retiring from the Council Bluffs Community School District in 1982.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Louis Gregory.

Survivors include three sons, Stanley Gregory of Council Bluffs, Harry Gregory and William Gregory; two daughters, Annalou Streiff and Sarah Gregory Long; a sister, Mildred Musgrave Phillips of Austin, Texas; an uncle, William R. Crooks of Mount Vernon, Ohio; an aunt, Anna Mae Coulter of Clinton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday and funeral services at 11 a.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Drive, in Raymore.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at the Shawnee Mound Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Hospice of Kansas City.
