Ruby M. Brown (April 25, 1909 - January 21, 2008), age 98, former Shelby, Iowa resident, died on Monday, January 21, 2008, at the Avoca Nursing and Rehab Center, in Avoca, Iowa.

Survivors include her sisters, Grace Beck and Peggy Sterling, both of Omaha, Neb., Mary Owings, of Ames, Iowa, Jesse Brees, of Florence, Ariz; one brother, Charles Eble, of Iowa City, Iowa.

The body has been cremated and there will be no viewing and no visitation. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 25th, 11 a.m., at the Shelby Methodist Church, in Shelby, with Rev. Dick Krambeck as the clergy. Memorials are suggested to the Shelby Methodist Church and Gideon International.
