Ralph A. Noecker, 72, a 39 year resident of Council Bluffs, passed away January 17, 2008, at Bethany Lutheran Home.

He was born September 24, 1935, in St. James, Neb., to Paul and Pauline (Strappert) Noecker. He was married to Mary Margaret McCluskey September 24, 1955, in Newcastle, Neb. Mary preceded him in death on September 8, 1996. Ralph was also an Army veteran, who served from 1955 to 1958. And for the last 15 years Ralph worked as a truck driver which includes the last 6 for Products Unlimited in Omaha.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Erma Promes.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dominic Catania; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Christy Noecker; grandchildren, Alex and Noah Noecker and sister, Phyllis Koch.

Service will be held Monday January 21st at 1 p.m at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment at Ridgewood Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Rainbow Post #2. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family.
