Daniel J. Donahue

OMAHA - Daniel Joseph Donahue, 79, of Omaha died Dec. 19 in Omaha.

He was born in Omaha to Daniel and Helen (Bonneson) and was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of the Eagles Post in Council Bluffs.

Mr. Donahue and his wife, Lela (Fichter) were married for 55 years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Jr.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Linda Glenn and husband, Bob, of Omaha; a son Ronald of Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
