David M. Hall

PAWNEE CITY, NEB. - David M. Hall, 77, of Pawnee City, Neb., died on Dec. 18 in Pawnee City.

He was born on Sept. 26, 1925, in Council Bluffs to Hubert and Erna Hall. He attended Abraham Lincoln High School and served in World War II.

He was a truck driver for most of his career, retiring from Barber Trucking and was director of Camp of the Risen Son from 1984 - 93. He was a member of First Christian Church and served as an elder and deacon there. He also was a Sunday school teacher at Council Bluffs Care Center for 15 years and a member of the American Legion.

Mr. Hall and his wife, Bonnie (Allen), were married in 1951.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter, Janice Lynn Niederhofer and husband, Joel, of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Peggy Westmoreland of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Hub Hall and wife, Patty, of Lincoln, Neb.; two grandsons, David Bolt of Bellevue, Neb., and Steven Bolt of Omaha; one granddaughter, Christina Mae Uhe of Plattsmouth, Neb.; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Duane King officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at First Christian Church.

Memorials can be made to Deaf Missions and First Christian Church.
