Mark L. Wingate, age 58, Papillion, Neb., died January 12, 2008 at his home in Papillion.

He was born July 21, 1949, in Council Bluffs. Mr. Wingate was employed by Climate Control Company in heating and air conditioning sales.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon L. Wingate; father, Fred L. Wingate; stepfather, Bill Roberts.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine C. Roberts of Council Bluffs; brother, Fred A. Wingate of Carter Lake, Iowa; significant other, Carol Wallace of Papillion, Neb., and her children: Christi Klemme and husband Mike of Omaha, Neb., Eric Wallace of Papillion; nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all his loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 16, 2008, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel. Services Thursday, January 17, 2008, 11:00 a.m., funeral chapel. Interment in Graceland Park Cemetery, Omaha. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
