Clifford Leon Snipes, born October 12, 1928 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away in his home November 28, 2007.

He was the son of Wilbur H. Snipes, deceased September 20, 1990 and Lena L. Snipes deceased October 6, 1958. He worked at Sheely & Lane, Banks Realty, Griffin Pipe, and Council Bluffs Monument and Granite Co.

Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Geraldine. Also survived by daughter, Carolyn Sullivan and her 3 children and 4 grandchildren; his daughter, Dori Michelle Dyer and her 4 children and 3 grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Don and Eva Snipes, Mary Lea and Glen Moore, Betty Hall and Jake Taylor, Glenn and Sylvia Snipes, Genevieve and Virgil Brownsburger, Vernon and Sharon Snipes, Ray and Linda Snipes, Bill and Judy Snipes, Dennis and Debbie Snipes, and Lucy and Ron Hanson. Close to him were his surviving Aunts and Uncles, Bob and Shirley Snipes, Pauline Herrill, Joan Kady, and Hardy and Joanne Snipes. He is survived by many nephews and nieces, great and great-great.

He was a kind and loving husband and father. He and his wife loved to go dancing. He loved to go places where his brother Glen's band played. He is remembered as enjoying coffee with his brothers and sisters as often as he could. He was a wonderful man and loved by all that knew him. He had many friends. He will be missed very much.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Maher-Livingston Funeral Chapel.
