Larry L. McFarland, age 65, of Council Bluffs, passed away Saturday at his residence after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Webster City, Iowa, to Guy and Betty (Eberhard) McFarland. He worked as a custodian for 18 years at Tyson Foods and was a member of Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Laura Beth McFarland.

He is survived by his wife, Kim McFarland; daughters, Barbara Boner and husband, Mike, Chelsea McFarland; stepsons, Todd Sales and wife, Mindi, Jamie Sales and wife, Alice, Scott Sales and wife, Kim; grandson, Aaron McFarland; granddaughters, Karla Boner, Briana Boner and MacKenzie Boner, all of Council Bluffs; 9 step grandchildren; half-brother, Gary McFarland of Webster City, Iowa.

Visitation with family on Monday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at funeral chapel with Rev. Dr. E. A. Hering officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
