Mark Henry

Mark Henry, 69, of Council Bluffs died Dec. 5 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Mr. Henry was born Aug. 6, 1933, in Creston to W. Ray and Fay (Moore) Henry. He graduated from Conway High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Navy in the Phillipines. He was employed in the manufacturing of telephone poles in Washington State.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Creston, American AM Vets and the Federation of Eagles.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Moore of Council Bluffs; cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be an open visitation Sunday at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home and from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the Creston church.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Bob Saucer officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Creston.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
