Alfred H. Kelly

Alfred Harold Kelly, 84, of Council Bluffs died Dec. 5 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Sioux City to William and Maude (Palmer) Kelly. He lived in Council Bluffs for about 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941-45. He was a custodian for Council Bluffs Community Schools, retiring in 1983.

Survivors include one sister, Faye Dahms, of Sacramento, Calif.; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. E.A. Hering officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.
