Eva Mae Raper, age 86, of Council Bluffs passed away November 15, 2007, at Woodlands Rehabilitation Center.

Eva was born July 20, 1921, in Kent, Iowa to Lee and Allie Mae (Cain) Hinton. She was a graduate of Bedford High School. In April of 1943, Eva and Curtis G. Raper were united in marriage in Maryville, Mo.

Eva is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis(1977); her sister, Evelyn Elmonds; and her brother, M.E. Hinton.

Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home with funeral services commencing at 4:00 p.m. that same day. Pastor Dan Stuck will officiate. Eva will be placed next to her husband Curtis at Ridgewood Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her honor to the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter, 2821 S. 15th St., Council Bluffs, IA 51501.
